First, I hope you enjoy(ed) your Homecoming Friday! Great time of year...

Check out the newly updated "important dates" and "weekly schedule" links to the right. We're wrapping up the Novel Project and moving on to the next big endeavor--an online-based research project. Excited?! :)

Reminders for the weekend:

**All plot summaries, character, setting, style, and theme notes for your novel are DUE ON MONDAY. Be prepared to turn everything in!

**Practice and prepare for the Novel Presentations to be given in class on Monday and Tuesday. Remember, in 2-3 mins. you need to discuss the BOOK TITLE, AUTHOR, PLOT SUMMARY, 2 LIKES, 2 DISLIKES, AND OVERALL RECOMMENDATION REGARDING YOUR BOOK ALL THE WHILE INCORPORATING EYE CONTACT, MOVEMENT, AND LOUD/CLEAR VOICES. You'll need your book in your possession plus the OPTIONAL "cheat-sheet" note card in class.
