Reminders at this point:

**Eng. 9b: HW (new set of roots, R/J)  is OPTIONAL this weekend, BUT we have a Latin/Greek Roots Quiz first thing Monday in class. Prepare! On a side note, feel free to check powerschool as the latest R/J quiz scores have been entered. We will go over those quizzes in the very near future!

**Transitions: We'll have another planner check on Tuesday of this coming week, and we'll also begin a new genre of writing--Creative Writing. Excited?! :)

**Eng. 9b: We have our first Romeo and Juliet QUIZ first thing on Monday. Be prepared to turn in all Act 1 notes as well at the outset of the class period. Please remember: an incomplete assignment = immediate lunch detention! Please let me know well beforehand if/how I can help.

**Transitions: the "Interview" assignment is due first thing Monday! Please remember to also include/write at least a one paragraph "intro" regarding the subject you interviewed.

**English 9b: You are required to finish at least eight lines of your journal entry "sonnet" by Monday in case you have not already. Also, please finish/re-work any "personal goals" upon receiving that back from me on Friday if necessary! Otherwise, reading ahead in Romeo and Juliet is optional for the weekend!

**Transitions: We'll have our second Academic Planner "check" first thing this coming Monday. Be ready with all class periods for the coming week mapped out!

**English 9a: Check powerschool and you'll see Latin/Greek roots lesson quiz scores officially recorded. We'll have at least two or three more of these lessons by Nov. 25. WE HAVE A KEY TERMS TEST FIRST THING ON MONDAY! ALL 53 TERMS ARE FAIR GAME! Also, please be ready to share and respond to your "Most Dangerous Game" short story notes from the textbook on Monday as well.

**Transitions: The first thing I will do on Monday is check your daily planner for UPDATED assignment due dates and tests/quizzes for this coming week and beyond. Be ready!
