**Eng. 9b: Be prepared to present your novel (with note card and book in hand) first thing on Monday! Also, we've got a grammar/punctuation quiz to take care of that day as well. Remember, in order for you to even TAKE the quiz and not receive a "0", your grammar notes assignment from last week MUST BE COMPLETED! No excuses. Please let me know if/how I can help BEFORE this due date.

**Eng. 10b: Your notes for Huck Finn should be completed THROUGH Chapter 13 by the start of class on Monday.

Reminders for Monday, a big day for all students:

Eng. 10b: "Good Night…" Assignment DUE MONDAY. Final draft should be typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. default font.

Eng. 9b: All A. Farm Essay items DUE (brainstorm, outline, edited rough draft, final draft). Final drafts should have a cover page, 2.5 pages of actual text, typed, double-spaced, 12 pt. default font.

All English students, be prepared this Monday for a Vocab Quiz first thing!! Be reminded that your original vocab assignment MUST BE COMPLETED AND IN YOUR POSSESSION THAT DAY. If you have any last minute questions regarding anything vocab, please don't hesitate to ask me before the quiz.

Last Semester #1 Weekend Update

Greetings, everyone!

I hope this weekend is a productive one for you…especially in terms of prepping for our final week of Semester #1 coming up here!

Reminders at this point:

**Eng. 10a: our final exam will be on Wednesday (4th hour students) and Thursday (1st hour students). Finish strong! And by the way, grades are officially updated at this point.

**Eng. 9a: our final exam will be on Wednesday (6th hour students) and Thursday (2nd and 3rd hour students). Finish strong! In addition, be sure to have Romeo and Juliet (notes/reading) Act 4 completed by this coming Monday before class starts! Quiz on Tuesday. Latin/Greek Roots quiz scores are uploaded to PowerSchool. FYI.

Holiday Break Update

Hi, everyone! Long time no see/talk. Hope all is well in your respective necks of the woods?!!

Some reminders at this point heading into tomorrow/Monday:

**Eng. 10a: Be ready to officially kick off a week's worth of Tuesdays research starting tomorrow/Monday. Also, take note that you need to be finished with the book as well as the written paragraph study questions by THIS COMING FRIDAY as well! Finally, QUIZ TOMORROW OVER CAPITALIZATION!!

**Eng. 9a: Read/Take notes regarding Romeo and Juliet Act 1:2 (the second scene) by the time you get to class tomorrow/Monday. Also, be ready for a Spelling, etc. QUIZ FIRST THING IN CLASS TOMORROW!

Weekend Update

Greetings, everyone! I hope the long holiday weekend has been great for all?? I know it was on my neck of the woods. Lots of driving/traveling but all worth it! And now….back to business :)

Reminders as we head into tomorrow:

Eng. 10a: Reading ahead in Tuesdays was optional this past holiday weekend. Be prepared to jump back into that text tomorrow (Monday) and also start a new grammar/capitalization unit (L.02).

Eng. 9a: Be prepared with your personal copy of Romeo and Juliet in your possession tomorrow (Monday) as we will be officially starting that story in class! Also, have your spelling, etc. handout with you as well since we'll be continuing with Unit 2 this coming week.
