**Eng. 10b: You need to be up to Ch. 20 (pg. 95) in Huck Finn by Monday (tomorrow) with accompanying theme packet updated. Also, we'll continue our research tomorrow, so please have "permission" in to me (those of you who this applies to) regarding your chosen topic by tomorrow!

**Eng. 9b: You all should have your "Choice Novel" in possession from here on out and start delving into the reading, writing, and analysis of it. We will have some supplemental vocab/grammar lessons attached to this project as we go. Also, all Animal Farm essay items are now DUE TUESDAY when I return. Be ready!

**Eng. 10b: Film essays are now DUE TUESDAY when I return. The due date for the Act 3/Crucible writing assignment still remains for THIS WEDNESDAY. And as mentioned last week, we start Huck Finn this week!

You will see that we'll be continuing our reading/analysis of each major text (Animal Farm/Crucible) as well as focusing on accompanying grammar/vocabulary lessons (with a quiz on the horizon).

You'll see that there are no new due dates UNLESS you plan to take the final exam this coming Friday and/or you have not presented in class as of yet. In the case of the latter, be prepared to present in class tomorrow (Monday)! Also, please remember to have something "educational" to work on for at least a portion of each day this week in class!

**Eng. 10a: You should be continuing your prep work for Hamlet "performances"…now to be done on Wednesday of this coming week. Also, you have your second "short story" from the textbooks due first thing Monday…quiz now on Tuesday.

**Eng. 9b: The A.Farm test we were to have last Thursday will now be given first thing this coming Monday. Also, the roots quiz has now been shifted to this coming Wednesday. Finally, keep in mind a fiction book (225 pgs. or above, etc.) that you may want to read for our upcoming "Choice Novel" project!

Hello, all! Hope the weekend is going well for you? It was great to see all who came out this past Friday evening to honor Mr. Hoppe…very fun night!

As you'll see, after having one more spelling, etc. quiz this coming Wednesday, we'll spend the latter part of the week solely on our respective reading texts!

Here are some reminders:

**Eng. 10a…your HW this weekend was to finish all units 5-8 spelling items…commonly misspelled and commonly confused "challenge words". In addition, you were to finish the reading and note-taking for Hamlet Act 3:2.

**Eng. 9b…same as above regarding spelling but units 3-4 for you!

The snow day on that last Friday combined with the fact that we've had a bit of time off here have resulted in a slight alteration to the schedule, as you'll see.
