This Coming Week
Hey, all. Sorry for the late notice here regarding the week! Better late than never, huh?
Anyway, please check out the newly updated (and altered a bit now that i'm not in school today) "weekly schedule" and "important dates" links to the right in order to prep for this week in class.
Reminders:
**Eng. 9b: You all should have your "Choice Novel" in possession from here on out and start delving into the reading, writing, and analysis of it. We will have some supplemental vocab/grammar lessons attached to this project as we go. Also, all Animal Farm essay items are now DUE TUESDAY when I return. Be ready!
**Eng. 10b: Film essays are now DUE TUESDAY when I return. The due date for the Act 3/Crucible writing assignment still remains for THIS WEDNESDAY. And as mentioned last week, we start Huck Finn this week!

Welcome Back!
Hello, all! Hope you had a great, rejuvenating break?? Time to be get back at it, right?! :)
In order to help prep for the coming back-to-school week, please take a look at the newly updated "weekly schedule" and "important dates" links to the right. You will see that we'll be continuing our reading/analysis of each major text (Animal Farm/Crucible) as well as focusing on accompanying grammar/vocabulary lessons (with a quiz on the horizon).
Both classes, be reminded that the optional homework from this past week was to simply work ahead in the above texts. If you borrowed a text from me over break, please return asap tomorrow to my classroom.

Last Weekend Update of the 2nd Tri!
Hello, all! Hope you've been having a great weekend.
On the eve of our last week of the 2nd tri (I think??!!), check out the newly updated "weekly schedule" and "important dates" links to the right in order to prepare.
You'll see that there are no new due dates UNLESS you plan to take the final exam this coming Friday and/or you have not presented in class as of yet. In the case of the latter, be prepared to present in class tomorrow (Monday)! Also, please remember to have something "educational" to work on for at least a portion of each day this week in class!

**Eng. 10a: you should be to at least pg. 100 of Tuesdays as well as have written responses to the highlighted paragraph response sheet for tomorrow (Monday).
**Eng. 9b: you should be to at least the halfway point of your novel by tomorrow (Monday) as well has have written responses to half of your "plot summaries" and half of your six "characters".

In preparation for the upcoming back-to-school week, please check out the newly updated "weekly schedule" and "important dates" links to the right. The snow day on that last Friday combined with the fact that we've had a bit of time off here have resulted in a slight alteration to the schedule, as you'll see. Take a look and let me know if you have any questions, concerns, and/or comments!
