Class today (Friday)...

Hi, everyone. If you checked the "weekly schedule" for this week at all last weekend or during the early part of the week, you already KNEW I wouldn't be in class today. I was in an all-day English department meeting...fun fun.

Anyway, to clarify some things:

1.) In class today, your task was to read and take notes as far into Romeo and Juliet as possible. Other than that, there is NO homework for over the weekend. Just be ready to review a handful of scenes in class on Monday.

2.) Please check this blog at some point tomorrow or Sunday to get a heads-up on next week's schedule...including details on the postponed "Comma/Shakespeare Quiz".

3.) Have a great weekend!

Back to reality, though...please READ AND TAKE NOTES THROUGH ROMEO AND JULIET ACT II, SCENE III FOR TOMORROW (FRIDAY). You should already be through Scene II at this point.

Maybe i'll see you tomorrow? Who knows....

Take care and be safe.

PRINTING ROUGH DRAFTS

Ladies and gentlemen, it'd be wise to do one of the following when printing your rough drafts:

1.) Click "File" and then "Print" from your browser rather than clicking the same from your Google Documents page. In other words, go to the menu bar at the very top of your computer screen (through Firefox, Internet Explorer, etc.) to make these selections.

--OR--

2.) Single space your whole word document and then click on "File" and "Print" within your Google Documents page. It should send you to you a "Preview" page (at least that's what it does on the school computers...on my laptop, it opens with Adobe Reader...hmmm) and it should should show you somewhat normal double-spacing (for some reason). Then you can print it.

Let me know if you have any questions regarding the above or anything else! Enjoy the weekend.

Friday, October 23, 2009
